OCC renews itself with 20 Volvo D11C Irizar I6s buses, which comply with EURO V certification.
OCC, a MOBILITY ADO’s brand, unveiled 20 new Irizar I6s buses in Mexico City.
In this way, OCC and MOBILITY ADO reinforce their commitment to provide the best travel experiences to their users, as well as to generate more environmentally friendly trips.
These 20 new Volvo D11C Irizar I6 engine buses have the Euro V certification, meaning they reduce particulate matter by up to 50% and nitrogen oxide emissions by up to 25%.
Each unit has security measures, which include an alert system for drivers, collision warnings, emergency breaking, and electronic stability control just to name a few.
The route that these new buses will take will be through the Isthmus of Tehuantepec and the state of Chiapas, reaching the municipality of Tapachula. These routes have experienced significant growth in users in recent years.
Since the user base has increased, the decision was made to have newer, more comfortable, and efficient units, all at an affordable price.
Each unit holds up to 44 passengers per trip and can move up to 13,000 people per month.
These units began their trips in January 2022 with all sanitary measures implemented by the company, including:
- Mandatory mask usage.
- Disinfection of high touch surfaces.
- Improved ventilation and air circulation systems.
- Unit nebulization.
These measures were validated and certified by Mexican and international organizations. The company has a commitment to safe and healthy travel for its employees, passengers, and communities.
In this way, the economy is reactivated, benefiting all sectors of the country that need to travel, taking care of all users, and improving their travel experience.
